As an American-turned-Canadian, I'll confess that we don't have any special celebrations planned for today. It's school and work as usual. I like to joke that Canadians must be more thankful since we celebrate in early October!
However Saturday is our oldest daughter's 15th birthday, so they'll definitely be celebrations of another kind goin' down. And for that, I'm thankful, in spite of the increased volume level that teen girls and their friends bring with them!
