Christmas 2021

We made it to the end of another hard year!

In spite of the challenges, I'm beyond grateful for lessons learned, friendships made and deepened, and beautiful projects launched. I pray you've also found glimpses of joy and light amidst the heaviness.

As we wrap up 2021, here are 3 gifts for you:

  1. If you enjoy meditation apps, I'm really loving Balance. I used Headspace for years, but this is much more personalized and elegantly designed. Plus it's free for the first year. They also have a new podcast called Well Balanced.

  2. If you haven't read Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May, I highly recommend it—especially if you live in a cold, northern climate. It brought much-needed perspective as I was navigating some stressful health challenges. She also has a wonderful podcast if you can't get your hands on a copy of the book right now.

  3. Below is a copy of my very favorite cookie recipe. So easy and yummy—it's not Christmas at the Clayton's without them. Click either image or here to download and print. Warning: the Andes candies can be challenging to find outside the US.

In the coming days...

May you be overwhelmed by peace, hope, and love this Christmas season.
May you be comforted in your sadness, knowing it reveals what matters most to you.
May you have sweet moments of joy to remind you why you're here.
May you be wrapped in rest as you sit in stillness and step lightly into 2022.

The studio is closed from Christmas Eve through January 4. I'll be quietly dreaming and scheming behind the scenes and enjoying time with loved ones. If a snazzy new brand is on your Christmas wish list, feel free to jump on my January calendar here. There's only one spot left in Q1.

Warmest Christmas hugs and blessings!
